With heavy hearts, we created a tulip bouquet urn for our sweet Aunt Gennie.

She was an Earth Angel who bravely fought Parkinson's for over 25 years... without complaint, without self pity, without a harsh word spoken. She grew beautiful gardens and amazing children.

We'll miss her humble nature, her sweet giggle, her kind heart and beautiful soul. Virginia Ruth you truly are one of God's most precious.

A Copper Winged Heart in Honor - Menkes Awareness

winged heart urn for ashes

This winged heart urn was handmade at half-depth to hold a smaller portion of ashes. It was created to honor a little boy who passed from this world too soon.  Little Braxton and his family fought a hard fight during his two short years on Earth.

He was afflicted with the condition known as Menkes Disease. It is caused by mutations in the copper transport gene, which is responsible for making a protein that is important for regulating the copper levels in the body. Primarily affecting baby boys, Menkes syndrome is terminal within the first few years of life, and currently there is no cure.

We pray that Braxton's family finds comfort and peace as they honor his spirit and mourn the loss of their little one.

Practicing Prototypes: Angel with Heart

We have been working on prototypes for our new Angel with Heart YURN. The first few casts of a new models is where we work our processes and color finishes. With this model, the angel's dress is the main vessel for cremains placement.

This prototype was made with Jamaica's grandmother, Doris, in mind. We personalized this model by engraving her initial "D", along with "Mom" and her grandma name, "Doie".  It won't be used as an cremation urn, but will hang on the tree that she rests under at the cemetery.

Soon we will be perfecting this model, taking pictures, naming it, writing copy and rolling her out into our production line!
