The Power of Personalization: Twin Pedal Steels

pedal steel guitar cremation urns

For sisters, a pair of matching pedal steel guitar urns for a Florida dad and musician.  They are engraved, "LGH Our Humble Hero" with dates on the sides.

His daughters chose to incorporate several sentimental elements...hunter green, for the green steel guitar their dad built himself...checkerboard pattern, for his love of chess...and the Emmons logo because he was friends with Buddy Emmons.

They shared with us a sweet story about the value he held in serving others through acts of kindness, and his encouragement for others to do the same.

His daughter shared:

"Our father left a beautiful legacy, which I would love to share with you, to give you an idea of what our Daddy was like. He was very political, and very much a smart aleck, but a big, soft, lovable teddy bear, too. A couple of local news stations did stories about his legacy. Please take a moment to view...and pass this information along to others, to continue spreading the love."

The Power of Personalization: A YURN Surprise

We started listening to an entrepreneur podcast a few months ago and joined a related Facebook group. Nathan, the host, had shared a story on his podcast about his tough childhood experiences and the close bond he had with his little brother. Tragically, is brother died in 2012, at the age of 29, from alcoholism.

We understand the struggles having loved ones afflicted by alcoholism, and were touched by his story of profound loss. His positive take-away was very moving as he spoke about how he has grown from all of his challenges.

We were inspired to make him a memorial for his brother, and it was delivered to him in Colorado as a surprise....

How amazing that he shared this video and allowed us to experience the un-boxing with him. It was very touching and brought tears to our eyes too...

We designed a graphic for the inside of the YURN, it had this quote that Nathan described as his life's motto.

YURNS Turns One, First Year in Review

One year ago today, we launched our new line of sculptural works, YURNS by MorzArt!
This endeavor to create unique cremation urns has been a blessing for our art and hearts. We are so grateful our path has led us to this work, and are humbled to create our special memorials for those grieving the loss of a loved one.
We are encouraged by positive feedback and are happy to report that we have sold 26 YURNS, in 9 states and 3 countries. It is an exciting future as we progress forward, and over the course of this next year, we hope to devote more time into growing our business and introducing new models into our production line.
Many thanks to each of you for your support!

YURN'ing for a New Workshop

We are excited to have a new work space to build our YURNS! After working around some great spring rain, we completed the shell and electrical, and moved our YURNS supplies inside today!
We lost our prior shop in the Bastrop wildfire a few years ago, and for us, this new creative space has been a long time coming.
In order to move forward with our art endeavors, we were in major need of replacing our workshop, and moving our supplies/equipment out of our living room.  We decided to reuse the existing concrete slab where our old shop stood.
This is a exciting step towards progress with the business, and healing for our creative souls to have a new space to work!
