Power of Pesonalization: A Pair of Hofner Basses

custom art hofner electric bass urn

We were contacted prior to Larry's passing. He was a bass player and his most prized possession was his Hofner electric bass. The instrument of choice for Paul McCartney.
His wife shared with us that the night of his passing, a family member stepped outside and found the sky to be a shade of purple...his favorite color. The sky stayed that color for a half hour and comforted his family in that moment.
His wife and son both got tattoos with three flying purple birds, wrapped in an infinity with the words, "Let it be." Three purple birds, a "Let it be" song lyric, and his signature were all engraved on his two unique memorial pieces....one electric bass urn for his wife and one for his son.
We were touched by the sweet story his wife shared, and embraced the challenge of creating these two detailed pieces inspired by his beautiful Hofner bass. We're always honored to create special tributes, like these, to remember loved ones uniquely. Best wishes and prayers for their healing and comfort in the days ahead.

I got it...it's even more perfect than I imagined!!!!

Becky purchased a guitar urn in memory of her son, Derek.  We worked with her to place 6 different engravings she wanted included on his tribute....his signature, favorite quote and nicknames.

Upon seeing the model we would make for Derek, his father also wanted one for his home.  With kindness, Becky decided to gift his father a guitar urn, and purchased a second memorial for him.

With a sweet gratitude, we loved working to create these special memorials for their son.  We were truly humbled by Becky's thoughtfulness when she left us a glowing Etsy review...actually, prior to us completing the urns! We are forever touched by our experience with Derek's family and the opportunity to honor his beautiful life.

The Power of Personalization: Twin Pedal Steels

pedal steel guitar cremation urns

For sisters, a pair of matching pedal steel guitar urns for a Florida dad and musician.  They are engraved, "LGH Our Humble Hero" with dates on the sides.

His daughters chose to incorporate several sentimental elements...hunter green, for the green steel guitar their dad built himself...checkerboard pattern, for his love of chess...and the Emmons logo because he was friends with Buddy Emmons.

They shared with us a sweet story about the value he held in serving others through acts of kindness, and his encouragement for others to do the same.

His daughter shared:

"Our father left a beautiful legacy, which I would love to share with you, to give you an idea of what our Daddy was like. He was very political, and very much a smart aleck, but a big, soft, lovable teddy bear, too. A couple of local news stations did stories about his legacy. Please take a moment to view...and pass this information along to others, to continue spreading the love."

The Power of Personalization: Custom Orcas for Arval

For 7 years, Rob worked side-by-side with Sandra in the front lab at Dallas Nephrology Associates. Sandra was his direct supervisor, a mentor, a surrogate mom, and a good friend. During those years, she was a daily source of wisdom, encouragement and humor for him.

Recently, Sandra contacted us and asked for us to create an Orca Whale for her brother, Arval.  He always love Killer Whales and their symbology of family, longevity, harmony, community and protection.

We created a large wall-mounted piece for Arval's wife and family....and a smaller whale memorial for Sandra to keep.  We feel honored to make these pieces for him and their family.

Recently we drove up to Dallas to deliver them to her in person. It has been over 10 years since we moved from Dallas and Rob left his job at DNA.  It was so awesome to see Sandra and her family, have some laughs and catch up on life.

She and her family have started a small business selling handmade soaps, lotions, and other scented oil products.  She treated us to samples of their products and Rob became a big fan of the Whisky Woodshop Beard Oil!  Check out, A Handful of Bubbles....www.ahandfulofbubbles.com

YURNS Turns One, First Year in Review

One year ago today, we launched our new line of sculptural works, YURNS by MorzArt!
This endeavor to create unique cremation urns has been a blessing for our art and hearts. We are so grateful our path has led us to this work, and are humbled to create our special memorials for those grieving the loss of a loved one.
We are encouraged by positive feedback and are happy to report that we have sold 26 YURNS, in 9 states and 3 countries. It is an exciting future as we progress forward, and over the course of this next year, we hope to devote more time into growing our business and introducing new models into our production line.
